Victim Relief Sent to Orlando Thanks to CCA Students

The oldest group of students at our 2016 Project Ignite Creative Arts Camp this year put what they learned about using the arts to make a difference to raise over $200.00 for the victims of the mass shooting that took place in Orlando earlier this summer. With no prompting from the instructors, these students organized a bake sale to take place before and after their showcase on Friday night of the camp. Students worked hard to bake tasty treats and use the culinary arts to bless others and be a sign of love for those suffering from the acts of hate. Clarion Center for the Arts was able to match their donation.
