ACTIVE Job Post - Music Program Leader & Instructor

Clarion Center for the Arts is looking for a friendly, professional, reliable and competent music instructor to teach piano and voice lessons while serving as our Music Program Leader.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching private piano and voice lessons (Must be able to teach piano and voice... other instruments are a bonus!)

• Teaching small group voice classes

• Music directing our Junior Musicals

• Managing a team of other Music Instructors (i.e. hiring, communications, scheduling and assistance as needed)

• Communication with parents (with the help of our Office Manager)

• Planning and managing recitals

• Assisting the Director and Office Manager with Marketing and New Student Onboarding

• Anything else necessary for the success of the Music Program

Our Music Program Leader teaches music lessons during evening hours. Program Leadership hours are flexible.

The position is paid $30,000 a year for an average of 30 hours per week.
