Our Story
Clarion Center for the Arts was founded in 2013 with a passion for using the arts to make a difference and teaching kids to do the same. If you're looking for an after school activity that shares your same values and priorities as a parent, we're the answer! We'll use Dance, Music and Theatre to help your kid grow into a Compassionate, Confident, Creative young leader who is ready to change the world. Let us partner with you today!
Meet Our Team!
BreAnna Liberto
Founder & Director
BreAnna grew up studying piano, voice, dance and theatre and has always known that she would be working within the world of performing arts for the rest of her life. She first dreamed of opening a performing arts school in 8th grade and even then she wanted it to be a place that taught kids character alongside artistry and technique. She's been quoted saying, "If the arts aren't being used to make a difference, then they're being wasted." When she's not at the Center, BreAnna can be found spending time with her incredible husband and their amazing boxer puppy, Plutarch!
Bethany Tarr
Family Engagement Champion
Bethany has been the wife to Chad and the mum of 5 amazing children exclusively for the past twelve years but decided recently to reinvest in and pursue her love for the Arts. Bethany grew up playing the alto sax and piano, first teaching herself to play for 5th grade band and then joining multiple pit and jazz bands at high school and college levels. She loves working at CCA where her compassion for the Arts and people are being realized in an authentic way. Bethany enjoys singing, dancing and praising her God, along with anything involving her family as long as they are together!
Janet Amoroso
Dance Coach
Ms. Janet grew up dancing in a small studio before majoring in dance at Point Park University. She is certified by The Fred Astaire Tap Dance Association, Acrobatic Arts, Cecchetti Council of America and Dance Masters of America. She has been teaching for 40 years and has had the pleasure of seeing her students perform on Broadway, in the Radio City Rockettes, at Disney, on cruise ships, in national commercials, Las Vegas, and modern dance companies in Chicago and New York. In her free time, Ms. Janet loves watching movies with her family, eating Mallow Cups and walking her poodle, Fred.
Hannah Frederick
Dance Coach
Hannah has been dancing since the age of 4 and found her second home at CCA. She was with CCA when it opened in 2013 and jumped right in as a Student Assistant before becoming a teacher the next year. She is currently studying Early Childhood and Special Education at Clarion University and is thrilled to be CCA's certified Rhythm Works instructor. In her free time, Hannah enjoys watching cheesy movies and eating peanut butter. She hopes to one day achieve her dream of creating a viral cooking channel on YouTube.
Katie Roth
Dance Coach
Katie started dancing when she was just 3 1/2 years old. (She and Ms. BreAnna have some crazy dance memories together as they grew up dancing in the same classes!) She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Exercise Science and a double minor in Dance and Psychology. Her full-time job as the Health and Wellness Director at the Oil City YMCA keeps her busy during the day, but she loves coming and hanging with all her Acro kiddos in the evening! When she's not at the Y or CCA, she loves spending time outdoors with her family!
